A week left before my holidays, and there is a kind of 1st draft in the works...it has depressingly many blank spots, though. But I've made some progress with the game mechanics case study. The chapter on emotions is a complete mess, I'm afraid: too many references to be read and synthesized into something sensible -- that is my main goal for the remaining few days.
Then again, Game game is shaping up ok even though the documentation tends to lack behind. In any case, I'll hope to do some playtesting during the holidays and perhaps even manage to get the dedicated section up on the site.
It'll probably be August until my next entry. Take care, folks :)

Ok, since my last entry I've written reviews of Read Dead Revolver (good) and Mario Golf (a bit lazy, me thinks) - but following Euro 2004 has taken up most nights, so there has not been that much gaming. I've played some WE7I with a Serie A patch, though :)
The biggets news, however, is that Satu has mostly taken over gaming in the family. She has been tending her farm in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life with at least as much care as her countless Sims scenarios. However, she seems find HM even more gratifying. The sense of agency is evidently more conrete.
I would still prefer Animal Crossing. Nobody beats Pinky!
