stabilizing

I guess things are starting to normalize - projects are starting to roll, the new home is emerging from piles and piles of things, and I've managed to write a draft of the second intro to the thesis. This one is more formal in nature with all the 'contextualizing into game studies' stuff plus a chapter-by-chapter introduction to topics. It'll be discussed in my post-grad seminar the coming Thursday.

In the middle of all the hussle, I did give a visiting lecture over at University of Turku (well, actually a unit located in Pori) last week, which was beneficial for the thesis as it more or less forced me to speak my theory of game elements out loud after a while. Inspiring!
