How to Play Texas Holdem Poker

Each player receives two cards; these two cards are used with the community cards to create the best possible 5 card poker hand.

2-10 players at a table,

The game begins with deciding who big blind is.

Big blind will post their ante and small blind posts half of the ante.

The game continues by the first person to the left of the big blind choosing either posting their ante (Calling), raising the pot or folding. The game continues to the next player….and so on. If the pot has been raised, than the new amount to enter the hand is equal to the raise, or you can re raise that.

 The pot can be re raised up to three times.

After the first round of betting has finished the dealer will burn one card and place the next three face up. This is the flop… another round of betting will commence…

Then the Turn… another round of betting….

Finally the flop. The flop is the final round of betting, players will than reveal their cards and the pot will go to the player with the highest ranked hand.

No Limit – You may go all in at any time, the value of your bets are unlimited.

Limit – The bets you make will be subject to a limit. This varies on what minimum the table is.

Pot Limit – Bets are limited to the size of the pot.
