Black Jackk Recommended Strategies

We at Blackjackk sincerely doubt that there is a need to underline how popular blackjack has become. Even beginners at the game cannot wait to test their luck at blackjack! As regards the experts, they are already so deep that they don’t need any further stimulus. You should know, however, that although a good strategy will increase your odds dramatically, blackjack does rely on luck one bit. In terms of not being able to affect the draw, as it were.

Acknowledging yourself with the rules to a letter is the prerequisite for being able to come up with the best blackjack strategy. Fortunately, only one thing needs to be kept in mind when it comes to blackjack, and that one thing would be reaching the score of 21 (or as close to that sum below the score).

In blackjack, there are two types of hands: the hard hand and the soft hand. The hand is soft when aces count as 11. All other hands are hard.

How to Play a Hard Hand

1. Hit when the score is 8 or below.
2. Double when your score is 9 and the opponent’s – between 3 and 6.
3. Double when your score is 10, and the opponent’s – between 2 and 9.
4. Stand when your score is of 17 through 21.
5. When you have the score of 13 through 16, stand in case the opponent has the score of 2 through 6.
6. Double when you have the score of 11 and the opponent has the score of 2 through 10. Hit if the dealer is in the possession of an ace.
7. Hit when your score is 12 and the dealer’s – 2 or 3.

How to Play a Soft Hand

1. Double when you have ace 2 or 3, and the dealer has 5 or 6. Hit in all other cases.
2. Double when you have ace 4 or 5 and the opponent has 4 through 6. Hit in all other cases.
3. Double when you have an ace 6 and the opponent has the score of 3 through 6.
4. Stand when you have ace 8 or 9.

Of course, keep an eye on the game development, and modify the strategy if needed.
